Authorized & Certified: What It Actually Means

We are an independent repair company — not authorized, certified, or factory-affiliated with Sub-Zero, Inc., Wolf Appliance, Inc., or Viking Range. Here’s what that distinction actually means for you.

What “Authorized” Actually Means

Authorized service centers exist for one reason: warranty work.

Manufacturers authorize specific companies to perform in-warranty repairs on their behalf. That’s the entire purpose of the designation — it isn’t a general quality certification.

Transparent Pricing

No surprises, no upsell.

A flat $99 diagnostic fee — waived when you move forward with the repair.

FAQ

Authorization and independence, answered directly.

Are you an authorized Sub-Zero, Wolf, or Viking service center?

No. We are an independent repair company and are not affiliated in any way with Sub-Zero, Inc., Wolf Appliance, Inc., Viking Range, or any of their distributors.

Do you perform in-warranty repairs?

No — we specialize exclusively in out-of-warranty repairs. If your unit is under active manufacturer warranty, we’ll tell you and point you to the authorized network.

Does “independent” mean lower quality?

No — it means we’re not bound to factory pricing or parts exclusivity. Our technicians are skilled and experienced with these specific brands; we’re simply transparent that it’s not a manufacturer affiliation.

Will using an independent repair company void my warranty on other parts of the unit?

No — routine repairs by an independent company don’t void a manufacturer’s warranty on unrelated components; only warranty work itself must go through the authorized network.

How do I know if my unit is still under warranty?

Check your original purchase or installation date — most manufacturer warranties run 1–2 years from purchase, though some cover the sealed system longer. We can also help you check during the call.

Why don’t you pursue manufacturer authorization?

Authorization ties a company to factory pricing, parts exclusivity, and warranty-work requirements — independence lets us focus on fast, transparent out-of-warranty repairs instead.
